APPRENTICE ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE RESUME REQUIRED

PRIMARY DUTIES:

To learn the industrial electrical maintenance craft by successfully participating in an apprentice program consisting of a combination of onthe-job training and related classroom instruction.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A resume outlining qualifications and experience must be submitted to be considered for this position.

• The program involves on-the-job training + classroom study (outside of regularly scheduled work hours, tuition paid by Carpenter Technology).

• Applicants must have earned a High School diploma or equivalent.

• Electrical schooling and/or experience preferred

• Applicants must successfully pass a Ramsay Test

• Applicants must meet the ANSI fall protection requirement.

• Applicants must be willing to upgrade their knowledge and skills as new technology and methods are introduced.

• Qualified candidates must attend non-compensated related classroom training when scheduled after normal working hours.

• Successful candidates selected for this program must read, agree to, and sign an Apprenticeship agreement.

• Candidates must maintain minimum standards of on-the-job progress and academic standing in order to remain in the Program.

• Selection of qualified candidates for this Program will not be based on seniority.

Selection criteria will apply, which will include an interview. Bidders are required to submit a resume.
