Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration - HVAC Service Technician with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in light commercial and/or residential systems. This position involves installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems with a high level of efficiency and professionalism. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems including walk-in coolers/freezers, split systems, RTUs, and ice machines.Perform routine and emergency maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration units.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Conduct performance tests and ensure systems operate at optimal efficiency.Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.Communicate effectively with clients, providing recommendations and explaining repair options.Comply with all safety and EPA regulations, including proper handling of refrigerants.Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and inventory of parts.Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency service calls as needed.

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience as a refrigeration technician.EPA Universal Certification required.Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and HVAC diagnostics.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or varying weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Trade school or technical training certification in HVAC/R.Experience with digital service tools and diagnostics.Familiarity with both commercial and residential systems.NATE certification a plus.
