SAP TM Architect (17024)

Baer is looking for SAP TM Architect for a 6+ month project located in Atlanta, GA
Title: SAP TM Architect
Location: Hybrid - Atlanta, GA (Onsite 3 days)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Description:

• Design and architect end-to-end SAP TM solutions, covering transportation planning, execution, charge management, and freight settlement.
• Lead full-cycle SAP TM implementations from requirements gathering and blueprinting to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define business processes, functional requirements, and system architecture.
• Configure SAP TM modules such as freight units, freight orders, carrier selection, tendering, planning, and charge calculation.
• Ensure integration with SAP S/4HANA and external systems using IDocs, APIs, or middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI).
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation including functional specifications, configuration guides, and training materials.
• Provide expert-level support for SAP TM operations, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
• Advise on SAP TM best practices, enhancements, and product roadmap alignment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP TM, with at least 2 full-cycle implementations in a lead architect or solution lead role.
• Expertise in key SAP TM functionalities, including Transportation Planning & Execution and Freight Order Management
• Strong integration experience with SAP S/4HANA and external logistics systems.
• Proficient in SAP TM configuration and enhancement frameworks.
• Familiarity with Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
• SAP TM certification and Experience in Agile project environments.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
