WELDER Automation Personnel Services has immediate openings for an experienced Welder at a Steel Manufacturer in Chattanooga, TN. In this position, you will be performing heavy structural welding, welding and grinding on handrails, and other welding. Position is full time temp to hire. Pay Rate $16 to $20 per hour based on experience and weld test Schedule and Shifts 1st shift 6:00am 4:30pm Monday through Friday Welder Job Duties and Responsibilities Weld and Fabricate metal products Follow blueprints to meet product specifications Calculate material measurements to verify specifications Proficiency with tools and equipment related to welding (including, but not limited to welding machines, grinders, plasma cutters, cutting torches) Fabrication Welder Job Requirements and Qualifications Must have previous welding experience Required to complete welding test Must be able to pass a 1G Flux Core test and (2) 1G MIG test Read and interpret blueprints. Perform calculations and operations with mathematical data to layout stairs, handrails and structural steel. Drug Screens and background checks are required Required to complete lifting assessment Benefits
