Carpenters Needed

We are looking for a qualified Carpenter. We are a small family run construction company based out of Blue Bell, PA. We do mostly residential and light commercial fit outs. The majority of our projects are whole home remodels, custom home builds, kitchens, baths and additions.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of carpentry. Working with little supervision. They should have the ability to manage tasks on their own.

Responsibilities

Ability to read blueprints, drawings and sketches
Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements
Install window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings
Install cabinets, trim, and flooring
Lay out and install flooring, roofing or drywall
Build scaffolding and other construction structures

Requirements

Proven experience as carpenter
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Good knowledge of English
Good understanding of Math
Good physical condition and endurance
The ability to travel if needed
High school diploma; Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is a bonus. Skills must be verified.
