R.G. Nicely HVAC Inc. is looking for a full-time HVAC Service Tech/Installer (for the Westmoreland/Eastern Allegheny County areas). Our family business has been successful for over 50 years working with top, reputable custom home builders, commercial companies and a large, long-term customer base. In the install area you would be exposed to new construction working the project from start to finish with custom ductwork, installation of several heating and cooling equipment systems with all the most up to date accessories including air purifiers, humidifiers, and Wi-Fi thermostats to name a few. All making sure the units and/or systems perform up to our and our customer's expectations.
You will also be exposed to installing in-floor radiant heat systems, snow melts, boilers and ductless mini-split heat pump systems. We work with the leader in home heating and cooling equipment, Bryant. As a Bryant Factory Authorized Dealer, there are training opportunities to learn skills you have not yet been exposed to and/or to further excel your skills.

We are looking for an individual who has a great work ethic, has a passion and takes great pride in their quality of work performed, is reliable, dedicated and punctual with the following skills:
*Skilled in trouble-shooting/diagnosing, solving service problems and making service repairs properly, quickly and efficiently as possible with very little return calls.
*Responsible for ordering all necessary parts/materials for return calls and keeping track of receipt of these parts/materials with the vendors so the call can be rescheduled by the office as quickly as possible.
*Skilled in performing seasonal "clean and check" preventative maintenance of all HVAC equipment.
*Responsible for collecting customer payment of all performed service calls and turning payment into the shop daily.
*Skilled and responsible for all service warranty part claims as well as warranty part returns to the vendors when necessary within the designated timeframes.
*Skilled in the installation of residential and commercial duct systems and HVAC equipment in both new and retro-fit construction, replacements and retro-fit applications.
*Skilled in working as part of a team as well as on your own with little direction, take initiative and be engaged in all aspects of all duties on the jobsite.
*Skilled in following all tasks that are delegated to you by others with diligence and thoroughness.
*Assist with truck material inventory used and the daily inventory replenishment to include; the loading and unloading all trucks for the days' tasks and double checking others to ensure they have not forgotten important details, materials or parts.
*Assist with a daily walk-thru of the jobsite to help ensure no tools or materials are left behind and the jobsite is cleaned up before leaving.
*Candidate must have a min. of two (2) yrs. experience, a clean and valid driver's license, must have means of transportation to/from work, must be reliable and also conduct oneself in a professional manner.
*Starting salary is $25-$32/hr. ($52,000-$66,560/year) which is negotiable depending on experience. There is an ability to excel and increase salary quickly based on performance.
Holiday pay & Health Care available after 90 days. Vacation pay available after a year of service.
