Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Manager to oversee all aspects of geotechnical construction projects. The role involves managing projects while also participating in estimates and business development. The Project Manager will be hands-on from pre-construction through completion, with projects located in Wisconsin. Specializing in geotechnical and heavy civil construction, these projects include micropiles, deep foundations, drilled shafts, and various other elements of earth retention and deep foundation systems. The position requires leadership of multiple projects around the Madison, WI area, with time spent both in-office and onsite. Responsibilities
- Oversee submittals, material ordering, pre-construction planning, scheduling, and design management.
- Coordinate, review, and submit project change orders, work orders, and project documentation.
- Oversee subcontractor procurement and contract negotiation.
- Create, review, and manage job budgets and cost reports.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations for all projects.
- Proficiency in construction management, civil construction, and geotechnical construction.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations.
- Experience with construction specifications, construction drawings, civil and geotechnical engineering.
- Skills in construction estimating, construction bids, and construction project management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (Geotechnical, Environmental, Structural).
- 5+ years of experience managing geotechnical, heavy civil construction, or deep foundation projects.
- OSHA Certification.
