From inspecting new construction and reviewing permits to investigating code violations and assisting the public, no two days will be the same. • High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• Two (2) years experience as a registered sanitarian or any combination of education, training, or experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the role
• Three (3) years experience in building inspection and code compliance/enforcement OR five (5) years experience in the building trades (or equivalent combination)
• ICC Certifications (within one year of appointment)
• Valid Arizona Driver License
• Ability to travel, work in the field, lift up to 50 lbs., and handle a variety of challenging environments
