Note: The hourly rate for this position is $32 - $35 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
  • Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure
  • Install and maintain water supply systems in new structures
  • Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
  • Install new fixtures or replace faulty fixtures (warranty work)
  • Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a plumber Valid CO journeyman license
  • 3+ years experience Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
  • Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
  • Reliable transportation
  • Tools of the trade
  • Ability to work in variable weather (cold, heat, windy, etc)
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
