Our large engineering/construction client is hiring for a Construction Superintendent in Seattle, WA. This individual will be delegating a team of 10-15 tradesmen consisting of electricians, HVAC / mechanical / plumbing mechanics, and general construction laborers. This person will be overseeing all construction activities taking place in this mission critical environment. They will be onsite most of the day, but will also be responsible for weekly project meetings, safety initiatives, scheduling, reporting, paperwork, and client updates/interaction. This person needs to have project management capabilities, the ability to interface with the client, develop and secure approval of MOPs, and a robust understanding of construction specifically mechanical and electrical work. They will be working on generator replacement projects and switchgears that will be completed in several phases, so an electrical background installing generators, switch gears, or other electrical components would be ideal.
