Job Description

We are seeking a QC/Safety Technician who demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the teardown, cleaning, evaluation, inspection, testing, repair, and assembly of various equipment such as AC/DC motors, generators, gearboxes, and HVAC equipment.
• Read and understand electrical circuit wiring and schematic diagrams.
• Utilize dimensional measuring equipment, including various types of micrometers, calipers, and other gauges.
• Employ electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, surge, and hi-pot test equipment.
• Interpret reports and extract important information to ensure quality assurance.

Essential Skills

• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including understanding of AC/DC motors and voltage.
• Applied or Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology degree preferred, or high school diploma with technical or trade school experience or on-the-job training.
• Ability to interpret industry, customer, and OEM specifications.
• Working knowledge of electrical motor, generator, and gearbox design and functional performance.
• Understanding of HVAC systems and function.
• Proficiency in electrical theory and circuit design.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Capability to work with minimal supervision.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
