Structural Engineer (Fully Remote - US Based) - Contract to Hire

Preferred Location: Florida

Pay Rate: $65-$70k Base + 50-80% commission on self-generated work

Summary:

ExecuSource is seeking a licensed Structural Engineer in the Florida market. You'll design, analyze, and draft residential and commercial structures, while also helping generate new business.

What you get to do:

Design and analyze structural systems using AutoCAD, RISA, Enercalc, and hand calculations

Proficient in vertical, lateral (including flood), and foundation analysis

Design in steel, concrete, wood, and masonry per applicable codes

Ensure compliance with local and national building codes

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients

Identify and resolve structural issues during design/construction

Network and promote our services in the Southeast

What you need to succeed:

Bachelor's or Master's in Structural or Civil Engineering

PE or SE license (active)

Proficient in CAD and structural analysis software

Strong communication and project management skills

Experience in business development and marketing

Experience with remote tools (Zoom, Google Meet)

Ability to manage multiple projects

Friendly, outgoing personality

US citizenship
