Position Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Restoration Estimator to join our growing team in Hialeah, FL. This role is vital to our preconstruction and operations success-responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for structural concrete restoration, waterproofing, and paint-related projects. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in civil construction estimating and a deep understanding of structural repair techniques, project scope interpretation, and cost evaluation. This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced role that requires both technical expertise and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. The estimator will interface with engineering, project management, and subcontractors to ensure competitive, clear, and comprehensive proposals that align with client expectations and organizational profitability goals. Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive, data-driven cost estimates for concrete restoration, structural repair, waterproofing, and painting projects. Analyze and interpret architectural/engineering drawings, bid documents, and specifications. Perform detailed material quantity takeoffs, cost breakdowns, and subcontractor quote comparisons. Participate in pre-bid site visits and job walks to assess site conditions and risks. Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to gather competitive pricing and scope alignment. Prepare bid presentations and deliver cost proposals aligned with project goals and company standards. Maintain and update historical cost data, pricing databases, and scope templates. Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure estimate-to-execution continuity. Support value engineering efforts and risk management during preconstruction. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering , Construction Management , or a related engineering discipline. 5+ years of professional experience in construction estimating, with a focus on concrete restoration, structural repair, paint, and waterproofing . Strong knowledge of construction materials , methods, and structural restoration techniques. Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) . Ability to interpret and analyze construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications with precision. Excellent analytical , interpersonal , and communication skills. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines. Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently or as part of a cross-functional team.
