Senior Estimator – Commercial General Contractor

As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing and overseeing comprehensive estimates for large-scale commercial construction projects. This role requires expertise in reviewing project plans, conducting quantity takeoffs, soliciting and analyzing subcontractor bids, and developing detailed cost proposals. You’ll collaborate with project managers, clients, and architects to ensure accurate budgeting and cost management from concept to completion. Strong analytical skills, proficiency with estimating software, and knowledge of construction methods and materials are essential. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in estimating for commercial general contractors and a proven track record of delivering accurate and competitive bids.

Senior Estimator Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor bids.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost accuracy.
• Present estimates to clients and stakeholders.

Senior Estimator Requirements:

• 7+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Proficiency in estimating software.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred).
