Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Cabinetry Drafter to join our design team. This is a hands-on drafting role ideal for someone with AutoCAD experience and experience in woodworking or mill shop environments. You'll play a key role in transforming architectural concepts into detailed shop drawings for custom cabinetry, bars, and decorative millwork.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed shop drawings and fabrication documents using AutoCAD

• Interpret architectural plans and translate them into precise millwork designs
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and shop personnel to ensure buildability and accuracy
• Draft custom cabinetry, bars, and decorative woodwork for commercial interiors
• Ensure all designs meet client specifications, building codes, and production standards

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience, preferably in architectural or millwork settings
• 1+ year of cabinetry drafting experience (any type of cabinetry is acceptable)
• Prior hands-on experience in a woodshop or mill shop environment is required
• Strong understanding of woodworking materials, joinery, and construction methods
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings

Preferred Skills

• Cabinet and millwork drafting
• Architectural detailing
• CAD proficiency (AutoCAD required)
• Familiarity with steel detailing is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
