PALFINGER is seeking an experienced painter to join the team and work out of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Council Bluffs, IA. The Production Painter will perform daily paint operations to meet production needs. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must have ability to mix paint and other coatings, sand and prepare parts to accept paint, apply paint and coatings on assemblies and components with spray guns.
  • Must be capable of applying a cosmetic appealing paint finish on very large truck bodies.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintaining instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Willingness and ability to work in a hot/cold working environment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be able to periodically lift 10-100 lbs and/or the ability operate hoist equipment for heavy lifting.
  • Specific vision requirements include close and color vision.
  • Must have the ability to work in spray/paint booth and perform duties while wearing a respirator.
  • Must be able to meet physical demands for at least 90% of the work day: Stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, use of hands/fingers, pushing/pulling.
  • Ability to work a full shift in a hot and/or cold industrial manufacturing environment.
