Job Overview:

CCS Construction Staffing is now hiring a Top Helper for Pipe Fitters on a school project in Vinton, VA. We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of basic pipe fitting who can support the fitters by hanging and threading pipe and staying productive on the job site.

Work Scope Includes:

• Assisting pipe fitters on a school construction project

• Hanging pipe and using tools to thread pipe

• Following directions and staying on task

• Learning and applying basic pipe fitting practices

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work site

Requirements:

• Experience as a top helper in a commercial pipe fitting environment

• Must understand the basics of pipe fitting and be ready to work

• Must have own basic hand tools and full PPE (hard hat, vest, gloves, safety glasses, work boots)

• Able to follow directions and stay on schedule

• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
