About the Team:

The Stennis Test team designs, builds, and operates Relativity's propulsion and stage test stands. Team members are hands-on with large-scale, complex systems including fully integrated engines and stage assemblies, pushing hardware to the limits and directly contributing to flight readiness. The work is fast-paced and highly operational, ideal for those with backgrounds in aviation, automotive, manufacturing, offshore operations, industrial systems, construction, or adjacent industries. You'll work in a close-knit, dynamic environment where collaboration between technicians, operators, and engineers is not only encouraged, but expected. About the Role:

As a High Power Electrician , you will perform functions in daily electrical work supporting engine testing, building of new test stand facilities, and modifying existing test stands. Responsibilities: Installation and/or maintenance of AC & DC electrical systems. Daily usage of NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E workplace protocols. Working with 277/480V and 120/208V distribution systems. Grounding, bonding, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical distribution systems. Installation and/or maintenance of switchboards, panelboards, transformers, backup power systems, transfer switches, rigid conduit, and associated wiring.

About You:

Minimum One (1) year experience in medium to heavy industrial maintenance, instrumentation, data and control systems, High Power Electrician OR Associates degree in related electrical technology. Below are skills needed for all technicians as well as skills necessary for each focus area.

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs unassisted
  • Consistently wear require personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, stand for extended periods and maneuver in tight spaces
  • This position will require occasional night shifts and possible travel
  • Ability to operate a wide range of hand and power tools for fabrication operations

Nice to haves but not required:

  • Experience with interpreting construction drawings and materials - Including plans,1-lines, equipment schematics, and manufacturer's instructions.
  • State Licensed Electrician.
  • Experience with installations in electrically classified locations (e.g., Class 1 Division 2).

Successful candidates must clear a background check administered by the US government to obtain clearance for on-site work at our government partner location in Stennis, Mississippi.
