Robotic Welder Operator Job Description Join a leading distributor of stainless steel and aluminum as a Robotic Welder Operator. This position involves programming and operating robotic welders, focusing mainly on MIG and TIG welding techniques. You will be trained on all machines in-house to ensure you are well-equipped for the role. Must Haves Minimum of 2 years experience programming a robotic welder. Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding. Experience working with stainless steel and aluminum. Responsibilities Program and operate robotic welders. Perform MIG and TIG welding, specifically using pedal and button controls. Work with stainless steel and aluminum materials. Engage in manufacturing and production processes, including assembly and sheet metal work. Read and interpret blueprints for welding and fabrication tasks. Execute stick welding and grinding as needed. The environment is non-air-conditioned but clean, with a total of 50 people onsite. You will be part of a team of 7. The first two candidates will work a 4/10 schedule starting at 7 am, while the next two candidates will work a weekend shift (Friday for 12 hours, Saturday for 12 hours, Sunday for 12 hours, and Monday for 4 hours). Attire includes covered shoes, work shirt, and jeans. Work uniforms are provided, and no hats or jewelry are allowed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Houston, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
