Builder - Field Representative

$48,000 to $51,500 plus mileage agreement! Salary based on experience.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our Field Representative's primary job function takes place outside of the office, inspecting homes and projects before, during and after installations. They are checking job readiness, checking on the installers doing the work and verifying that everything gets done, and doing the little things to button up whatever is outstanding. They are field measuring and checking work orders to make sure we have the right quantities of materials ordered and we have materials to cover all the areas in the installations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Communicate with builders and project managers daily
• Inspect job site prior to installation to ensure everything is ready
• Inspect job site following installation to ensure proper and timely completion
• Determine best method of installation or repair, conduct measurements and instruct installers
• Ensure the job is completed to the customer's satisfaction
• Respond to any complaints or questions regarding installations
• Pick up and deliver materials as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Flooring and Installation knowledge
• Ability to perform small flooring repairs and QC items.
• perform slab inspections after pour

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

The incumbent must:

• Have earned a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Recommend having at least one year experience in flooring/installation experience.
• Proficient on ipad/iphone apps for operating company programs and processes.
• Exhibit commitment to safety in all work practices.
• Be able to work independently and problem solve.
• Be able to multi-task and prioritize the duties required.
• Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and insurance.
• Must have a reliable truck to travel to job sites.
• Must be a good communicator.
• Required to pass drug test and subject to random testing.
