Objective:

To provide the stores with refrigeration maintenance and to be the first point of contact for any refrigeration repairs and/or problems.

Essential Function:

To work under the direction of the Director of Buildings & Equipment to manage refrigeration repair and maintenance needs, maintain service records and schedules, and determine when it is necessary to call on an outside vendor to complete refrigeration repairs.

Basic Functions:

1) Follow directives of the Director of Buildings & Equipment, VP/P/CEO.

2) Responsible for performing work to keep refrigeration cases, units, and other related equipment in good repair.

3)Troubleshoot refrigeration problems, HVAC, plumbing, etc., and contact a vendor to complete refrigeration repairs, if needed.

4)Keep records of repairs, as well as maintain and audit billing for refrigeration services performed.

5)Oversee company-wide refrigeration preventative maintenance program.

6) Perform all assigned duties in a timely, efficient manner.

7) Maintain a friendly, professional attitude and provide courteous service to all store associates and vendors at the various locations.

8) Schedule store visits and prioritize refrigeration maintenance requests.

9) Perform varied duties related to refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing including but not limited to:

A) Basic plumbing and electrical functions, as well as Freon recapture

B) Installation of equipment

C) HVAC repairs and fixes.

D) replacing Air Filters

10) Follow Company Safety Standards.

11) Enforce and abide by Company procedures and policies.

Specific Skills:

1) Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

2) Must possess basic skills/knowledge and/or possess certifications in Freon recapture, electrical, and plumbing.

3) Operation of tools and equipment necessary to perform the basic and essential functions of the job.

Machinery/Equipment:

Proper use and maintenance of: HVAC, Plumbing and Refrigeration tools and related equipment

Computer (including monitor and keyboard), printer, fax machine, and various office equipment.

Schedule:

FT - Variable schedule, including weekends
