Qualifications and responsibilities for this Geotechnical Engineer PE position include: Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maryland or a state with reciprocity (required) Degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus Must have experience in geotechnical design and report writing Ability to independently manage full geotechnical design reports and proposals Strong mentoring skills to guide junior engineering staff Experience working in small, collaborative teams with a hands-on approach Interest or ability in bringing in new business is a major plus Comfortable being in the office and field 90% of the time Familiarity with geotechnical software (Yint, Alpile, AutoCAD) preferred but can be trained Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Bonus potential of $20,000 - $40,000 annually.
