Painter/Prepper - Coolkeeragh Power Station

Location: Coolkeeragh Power Station, Northern Ireland

Duration: 3 days - working 10 hour shifts each day

Pay Rate: 20.14 per hour PAYE

Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for a Painter/Prepper to support a short-term project at Coolkeeragh Power Station.

Role Overview: You will be responsible for prepping and painting surfaces to a high standard, supporting maintenance or refurbishment activities within a live industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Surface preparation including sanding, masking, and degreasing

Applying primers and top coats using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment

Ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work area

Working to health and safety standards, particularly in a power station environment

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Painter/Prepper in an industrial or construction setting

Valid CSCS or CCNSG Safety Passport

Ability to start immediately and commit to the full 3-day assignment

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
