**Job Description**
Join our team as a Welder, where you will play a crucial role in manufacturing trailers for military and commercial applications. With exciting contracts extending to 2035, you will be responsible for fitting parts to print and executing MIG welding according to the weld symbols on the drawings. You may utilize jigs for fitting and conduct quality checks using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. Certified upon hiring, you will maintain high-quality standards for the Department of Defense.
**Responsibilities**
+ Fit parts according to prints and perform MIG welding using weld symbols.
+ Utilize jigs for fitting parts as necessary.
+ Conduct quality checks using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
+ Perform grinding and sanding on welds as required.
+ Ensure all welds meet quality standards before inspection.
+ Maintain high-quality standards for Department of Defense specifications.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of MIG welding experience on mild steel.
+ Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
+ Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in TIG welding.
+ Knowledge of aluminum fabrication.

**Work Environment**
Work in a friendly small-town environment with two buildings offering distinct working conditions. The older building, where most steel welding occurs, is somewhat loud and darker, hosting welding cells with 1 to 3 workers. The newer building is cleaner and brighter, focusing on assembly and painting, and is where TIG and aluminum welding is conducted. Enjoy working Monday through Thursday from 6 am to 4 pm, with flexibility on Fridays, contributing to the creation of military and commercial trailers.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
