Welder**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled welder to perform welding on hard steel materials, primarily using MIG and pulse style hardwire .045 welding techniques. The role involves ultra-sonic welding, requiring precision and expertise on materials ranging from 3/8" to 4" thick. This position will be based in a heat treat style welding environment, where you will be responsible for setting up and laying out fixtures and fit-ups. Eventually, you will be certified and trained to weld components for concrete boom trucks, with all welds being X-rayed and certified for high detail.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG, pulse style hardwire .045 welding on hard steel materials.
+ Set up, layout, and fit-up fixtures independently.
+ Execute ultra-sonic welding with precision on materials ranging from 3/8" to 4" thick.
+ Prepare for certification and training to weld components for concrete boom trucks.
+ Ensure all welds meet X-ray certification standards and high detail requirements.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in MIG welding on heavy gauge materials.
+ 1+ year of experience in reading blueprints.
+ Proficiency in hardwire .045 pulse style MIG welding.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with TIG welding.
+ Knowledge of structural steel fabrication.

**Work Environment**

The atmosphere is less loud and dusty compared to typical shops, though heavy cranes and machinery are present. The standard work hours are 6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with heavy overtime usually extending the schedule to 5am-3:30pm.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
