Pay:

CO- (Collective Operations) seeks a Senior Project Architect/Manager to lead the design development, construction documentation, and delivery of large multifamily projects. The individual will manage the internal team, coordinate consultants, and ensure the project advances with quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

California Licensed Architect preferred (not required)

~8 years of professional experience

Strong experience with new construction multifamily projects through construction documentation

Experienced in construction documentation and administration, including preparing ASIs and RFIs, and reviewing submittals. Must have familiarity with Procore.

Ability to interpret zoning and building codes (IBC + California addendum) in preparing construction documents.

Experienced in coordinating with engineering and consulting teams and navigating the building permit approval process with local jurisdictions

High proficiency in Revit

Proficiency in Adobe and Rhino

Working ability with Microsoft Excel

Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills for both internal and external relationships

Rehab project experience is a plus

Job Responsibilities

Lead the project's design development and construction documentation phases, ensuring quality, consistency, and code compliance

Manage and coordinate consultants (structural, MEP, civil, landscape) throughout the CD/CA phases

Manage 1-2 internal team members (project designers, interns) with clear delegation, task tracking, and mentorship

Develop and maintain Revit and documentation standards for the office

Review and interpret zoning/building codes and apply them effectively

Respond to RFIs, coordinate submittals, and support construction administration

Prepare and manage drawing sets, details, and specifications

Collaborate with Partner-in-Charge on client communications and city meetings

Attend and conduct site visits, documenting progress

Track project schedules, deadlines, and milestones

Maintain clear, organized project documentation

Lead QA/QC reviews before issuing

Prepare and submit permit packages, tracking approvals

Lead technical detailing efforts with the team
