Job Overview

Virtium is looking for an experienced Hardware Design Engineer Manager to lead and manage our development team. Viritum is a recognized leader in industrial SSD used in critical networking, telecommunications and industrial infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Manages a team of HW design engineers, focusing on team performance, growth, guidance, mentorship, and development.

Hands on Engineer ready to handle projects and help other team members as needed.

Balances technical (50%) and managerial (50%) responsibilities.

Prioritize day-to-day assignments for Engineers and review/approve engineering deliverables.

Ensure adherence to relevant hardware standards, regulations, and best practices.

Works with product and business leaders to prioritize and plan engineering projects.

Oversees the delivery of technical projects, ensuring high quality and timely execution.

Provides career development, feedback, and mentorship to team members.

Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Experience: 10+ years

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field is required.

2-5 years of sales experience in the semiconductor or storage industry is essential.

Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.

Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills are critical to success.

High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to delivering results.

Skills:

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Experience in managing people and processes.

Strong technical background with HW design, component selection, layout, PCB design, PCB fabrication, manufacturing etc.

Capable of balancing short-term execution with long-term strategy.

Salary range: $110-$140K
