Requirements
The Millwright Maintenance Coordinator oversees the maintenance activities within an organization, ensuring that all machinery, equipment, and facilities are kept in optimal working condition. This role involves coordinating and supervising a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards. The Millwright Maintenance Coordinator plays a critical role in minimizing downtime and enhancing the reliability of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Supervision:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Maintenance Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime and disruption during maintenance activities.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Equipment and Facility Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment, coordinating repairs and replacements as necessary.
- Inventory and Resource Management:
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability for maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary materials and services.
- Monitor maintenance budgets and control costs effectively.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, addressing any safety concerns promptly.
- Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance operations.

Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. / Mon-Thurs (some mandentory overtime will be required)
