HVAC Installer & Retrofit Technician

A well-established, family-owned HVAC and sheet?metal fabrication company in the Flathead Valley is hiring HVAC Installer and Retrofit Technician. They're known for their craftsmanship and wide-ranging services that blend heating and cooling work with custom metal fabrication.

This position focuses on the installation, modification, and upgrade of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. You'll work on both new construction and retrofit projects, ensuring systems are installed efficiently, safely, and to code. If you're experienced with furnaces, AC units, ductwork, and enjoy problem-solving in existing structures, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay: $25 to $35/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Thursday - 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 3-Day Weekends!

Essential Functions and Duties:

Install and retrofit HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems

Perform ductwork installation, modifications, and sealing for system efficiency

Read and interpret blueprints, job plans, and technical specifications

Diagnose problems and recommend retrofit solutions in older homes and buildings

Ensure compliance with local mechanical codes and company standards

Maintain a clean and organized worksite and company vehicle

Qualifications:

HVAC trade experience preferred

Minimum construction experience required

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs and work in tight crawlspaces or attics
