Your Purpose
Perform the construction administration as well as plan, direct and coordinate activities associated with new stores and remodels in a timely manner and within established budget guidelines. Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
What Youll Do
- Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
- Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
- Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
- Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer.
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
- Responsible for and coordinate general contractor and vendor relationships and deliverables.

What You Bring
- Required Associates Degree (A.A.) from a two-year College or Technical school and five to ten years experience in construction management.
- Preferred Bachelors Degree in Construction Management and five years experience in construction management.

Physical Demands
Physical demands include, but are not limited to, high aptitude for standing and walking endurance, sitting while driving to various stores, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling climbing ladders of various types, bending, squatting, and kneeling, and working in different temperatures inside and outside the store.
