Job Description

A valued client of ours is looking for an Electrical Project Manager/Estimator for commercial and light industrial projects.

They are a local company seeking a candidate interested in growing with the company, implementing new procedures, and willing to learn.

Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills are critical.

Responsibilities

• Determine the scope of work by reviewing bid documents and attending pre-bid meetings

• Perform accurate takeoffs and quantify estimates.

• Obtain quotes as needed from subcontractors and vendors.

• Determine which vendors and subcontractors to use on the projects.

• Develop a project schedule for each project.

• Attend project meetings throughout the job.

• Establish and maintain working relationships with clients and subcontractors.

• Safety and quality conscious.

• Communicate with team members and trade partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with a proven track record.

• Prior electrical field experience.

• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Accubid, Bluebeam, Conest, or McCormick estimating software

• High level of organization and planning abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Team player with a positive attitude and is self-motivated.

• Knowledge of construction practices and methods.
