Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Commercial Pipefitters immediately in Charlotte, NC.

LONG TERM!! WEEKENDS OFF!

PAY: $25-$32/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: 40 hours a week
SCHEDULE: 7:00 am- 4:30 pm
START DATE: ASAP

Pipefitter Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced commercial and industrial pipefitters.
Install industrial piping systems such as welded pipe and copper cast piping
Working with 1"-14" piping
Possess working knowledge of blueprints and submittals, as well as sequencing aspects of installation of all plumbing, including roof drains, rough in, and setting fixtures.
Fabricate pipe supports.
Work independently and solve small problem situations that occur during normal coordination with other trades.
Instruct plumbing helpers under your supervision
Be familiar with all safety items.
Hold license to operate all equipment necessary to perform your job.
Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping.
Troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Be professional at all times.
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Pipefitter:
Minimum 7 years pipe fitter experience on hospital and heavy commercial projects
Must have pipe fitter hand tools
Knowledge of pipefitter equipment and power tools
Must have knowledge of pipe fabrication methods
Knowledge of the different types of pipe, valves, fittings, as well as their function within the system
Willingness to guard your own personal safety and the safety of others
General knowledge of code requirements and limitations.
Knowledge of all occupational hazards, including ladders
Able to work minimum 40 plus hours per week
Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift
Able to stand and work for prolonged periods of time

Additional Requirements for Pipefitter:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
This position requires the use of PPE (Boots, hardhat, vest, gloves, glasses)
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check!
