We're Hiring: Carpenter Apprentices Join the HomeWorx Team!
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $18-22/hr. based on experience
HomeWorx is growing, and were looking for semi-skilled Carpenter Apprentices to assist us in building exceptional outdoor living spaces! Our current focus is on sunrooms and decks, but we also offer a wide range of handyman and general carpentry servicesso versatility is key.
What You'll Do:
Assist lead carpenters on residential construction projects with an emphasis on decks and sunrooms
Take on a variety of general carpentry and handyman tasksframing, trim, drywall, doors, windows, repairs, etc.
Deliver quality work and outstanding customer service
What We're Looking For:
1-3 years of carpentry experience (deck and sunroom experience is a big plus)
Handyman skills and ability to handle diverse home repairs a plus
Reliable transportation and own hand tools
Able to pass drug and background checks
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-friendly
Bonus Points For:
Comfort communicating directly with homeowners
