Electrical Estimator

We're partnering with a reputable electrical contractor that's looking to bring on a skilled Electrical Estimator to support their growing project pipeline. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in estimating commercial or industrial electrical work, who can balance precision with pace in a deadline-driven environment.

What Youll Do:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs)
- Analyze drawings, specs, and RFPs to develop accurate scope-of-work takeoffs
- Review bid documents and identify potential risks, omissions, and cost-saving opportunities
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors for quotes and clarifications
- Track historical cost data and contribute to continuous improvement in estimating accuracy
- Assist with change orders and pricing revisions as needed

What Were Looking For:
- 3+ years of estimating experience in the electrical construction industry
- Solid understanding of NEC, local codes, and construction sequencing
- Strong math, analytical, and project budgeting skills
- Proficiency in estimation software (Accubid, McCormick, or similar) and MS Excel
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and technical drawings
- Excellent communication and time management
