Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Create new tooling models or update / redesign existing tooling used to assemble/disassemble, and transport jet engines.
- Resolve tooling issues and implement corrective action.
- Follow Standard Work (SW) guidelines / processes / procedures and customer's Design Manual specifications.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and structural analyses to develop tools to meet Form, Fit, and Function requirements.
- Conduct Tool Tryouts
- Submit Plant Maintenance Requests to initiate work to supporting groups internally.
- Generate and update status reports in Tooling Trackers
- Adhere to Export / ITAR regulations.
- US Person required.
- Suggest Continuous Improvement ideas to achieve manufacturing / quality goals & tolerances.
- Introduce Cost Saving proposals.
- Support implementation of Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
