SummaryThe carpenter is responsible for fabricating, laminating, and finishing large scale projects. This role is eligible to work an in person schedule 6am-2:30pm M-F out of our facility in Ft. Wayne, IN.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Fabricate large-scale exhibit environments, executive briefing centers, showrooms, corporate lobbies, and store fixtures
- Manage workload on multiple projects seamlessly
- Utilize creative problem solving to find the best approach to the fabrication of each project
- Maintain accountability for manufacturing the final exhibit outcome
- Successfully complete projects within the allotted hours assigned to the job
- Interact with the design-detailing department
- 5+ years manufacturing experience in the wood working or cabinet making industry
- Knowledge of high-end wood fabrications as related to furniture, cabinetry, and fixtures fabrication
- Strong knowledge of woodworking materials
- Possess strong organizational and communication skills
- Consistent attention to detail, and a dedication to excellence
- Ability to work in a cold/warm warehouse environment around moving equipment
- Ability to stand on feet for 6-8 hours per day
- Ability to reach about and below shoulder, push and/or pull, kneel, squat, bend/twist, and climb ladders
- Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player
- Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
