at Qubitfy LLC in Aurora, Illinois, United States Job Description Design and develop enhancements to AWS Elastic File System (EFS) to improve performance, scalability, and reliability, enable low-latency and high-throughput distributed storage solutions. Implement Paxos leader election at the client layer, reduce storage dependency and network hops, improving latency. Transition journal extents from multi-tenant to single-tenant design, enhance isolation, reduce contention, and ensure consistent performance. Optimizeretrieval times by refining metadata handling, &streamline replication. Improve system performance by identifyingbottlenecks and optimizeserialization and I/O. Monitor EFS performance via PagerDuty, resolve issues using runbooks, and escalate complex problems with detailed diagnostic. Design and implement features and APIs to support petabyte-scale workloads. Employer will accept a Master's degree in the Computer Science/Engineering (any), C.I.S. or equivalent, plus one-year experience. The employee's relocation is contingent on client needs. The frequency of the relocation as well is unknown, and it purely depends on the client's requirements. There is no National or International Travel involved for this position.
