We are currently seeking a Project Manager to provide overall management direction for existing projects and develop new business opportunities relative to a particular geographic area or type of project. In addition, this individual will provide technical management on project sites, from bid preparation through final acceptance by the customer.

Main Responsibilities:

Plan, organize and staff key field personnel through regional department heads.

Establish project objectives, policies, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy; schedule steps to complete each project and budget the time required to meet deadlines; make contingency plans in case of delays, weather, or emergency situations.

Initiate and maintain liaison with customers to facilitate project activities.

Monitor/control projects through administrative direction of on-site management personnel to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.

Prepare and submit estimates, and progress/cost tracking reports on a daily basis for each project phase.

Assist in the resolution of procedural issues or customer complaints.

Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect the Company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with customers.

Obtain subcontract quotes for bid.

Keep timely invoicing of all projects. Review all subcontractor and supplier invoices for accuracy and ensure they are all coded correctly and to the right job before entering into accounting system.

Provide costs and revenue accruals at month-end close.

Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommendation of construction methods and equipment. Initiate and maintain extra work estimating and issuance of change orders.

Build and develop positive customer relationships. Maintain knowledge of current customer policies and procedures.

Build and maintain team unity, mentor crew members, resolve grievances, and refer more serious problems to immediate supervisor and/or HR.

Improve safety, quality and productivity by encouraging continuous improvement of processes through elimination of waste.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in engineering or construction management, or a related field.

Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Excellent written and oral communication to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, etc.

Superior interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influencing).

Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Analytical troubleshooting - define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years' professional experience in construction, design, finance and management.

Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
