Commercial/Industrial HVAC Service Technician**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial/Industrial HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, air handlers, and refrigeration systems.
+ Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs.
+ Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
+ Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
+ Ensure compliance with all safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
+ Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members.
+ Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of HVAC equipment as needed.
+ Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or GED; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.
+ 3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC service.
+ EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal).
+ Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
+ Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
+ Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Comfortable working in confined spaces, on rooftops, and in varying weather conditions.
+ Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr.
