We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Site Electrical Engineer to support and optimize electrical systems within our GMP manufacturing facility. You will play a critical role in the selection of new systems, equipment specifications, and maintaining electrical infrastructure, improving system reliability, and driving continuous improvement across production and utility operations.
Your responsibilities- Design and maintain power, controls, and instrumentation to optimize plant operations.
- Ensure system reliability and safety per NEC, OSHA, and NFPA 70E standards; troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
- Integrate robotics, sensors, and automation technologies with cross-functional teams.
- Lead capital projects and upgrades, managing budgets, schedules, and vendors.
- Drive process improvements with engineering, maintenance, and production teams.
- Maintain regulatory alignment (GMP, FDA, ISO, EHS) and current schematics.
- Execute preventive maintenance and support audits, validation, and tech transfers.
- Resolve complex issues and implement predictive maintenance using IoT and analytics.
- Lead energy and automation enhancements; introduce new technologies for efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate risks through structured frameworks and workshops.
- Provide engineering support and training to ensure delivery and operational excellence.

The experience we're looking for- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, electrical engineering and power distribution.
- Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, including 480V 3-phase power, PLCs, VFDs, and automation controls.
- Knowledge of national and local electrical codes and safety practices.
- Experience with robotics, motion control, and IoT integration is a plus.
- Familiarity with power distribution, motor controls, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN for schematic design. Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and electrical codes. Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, FDA, ISO 9001/13485).
- PE (Professional Engineer) License or EIT certification preferred.
- Experience with automation platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
