Our client, a leading player in the automotive manufacturing sector, is seeking an Electrical / Electronic Engineer II to join their team. As an Electrical / Electronic Engineer II, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have creativity, strong analytical skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: High Point, NC

What's the Job?

  • Design, develop, test and troubleshoot the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting.
  • Evaluate the cost effectiveness, reliability, and safety of certain design models.
  • Estimate time and cost to complete projects.
  • Simulate and test machine/structure/system operation.
  • Investigate and test vendors and competitors' products.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and design software related to the engineering field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
