Job Description This role offers an exciting opportunity to work onsite in Mechanicsville, VA, where you will oversee various construction projects from inception to completion. Your innovative solutions and problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring the excellence and integrity of our projects. You will work closely with our experienced team members to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of civil engineering within a supportive and high-performance work environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Assist with project planning and resource allocation.
- Analyze survey reports and data to inform project decisions.
- Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure project goals are met.
- Create detailed plans and blueprints using AutoCAD and other design software.
- Manage project timelines and adapt to changing requirements to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction principles and practices.
- Professional proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for successful collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in site development including grading, stormwater management, and erosion control.
- Experience completing site layouts and supporting engineering contractors.
- Exposure to attending county meetings.
- Proactive mindset and passion for delivering high-quality work.
