Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects from initial bid through to final completion. The Project Manager will play a vital role in increasing efficiency and profitability throughout the project lifecycle. As the main liaison between the company and clients, the Project Manager is also the primary support for field forces. This role requires balancing time in both office settings and on-site locations to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Estimate projects across a variety of delivery methods: Plans and Specification, Design Build, and Conceptual Estimating.
- Perform quantity takeoffs, request and evaluate major equipment and subcontractor quotes.
- Review pricing and cost-effective construction methods to be included in future estimates.
- Secure favorable material and equipment quotations.
- Become proficient with the company's estimating software and verify calculations to finalize proposals.
- Utilize company proprietary labor and material databases during estimates.
- Oversee the pre-construction process, understanding and complying with the project's contractual requirements.
- Maximize project profitability and negotiate material/equipment purchases.
- Collaborate with project foreman to lay out, plan, and schedule work to create optimal value.
- Handle all project-related correspondence and assist with managing project personnel.
- Monitor project productivity, profitability, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Attend and actively participate in project meetings.
- Ensure the proper allocation of manpower, equipment, and tools.
- Advise and manage monthly billings, including monthly job cost projections to ensure accurate WIP (Work In Progress).
Essential Skills
- Minimum of two years of project management experience in construction.
- Experience in electrical industry is a plus.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Professional telephone skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and independent decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and develop positive relationships with electricians, architectural and engineering firms, general contractors, clients, and team members.

- Experience in electrical industry.
- Experience with general contractor or EPC is considered.

Projects are located across Wisconsin and into Illinois. The company is known for its diversity of projects, including power plants, data centers, solar installations, industrial, commercial, and service. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $50.00/hr.
