Job Description Join a growing civil engineering firm based in Utah, seeking a Civil Engineer with an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. The ideal candidate will have experience in municipal water design or treatment, including culinary and sewer water treatment. You will design projects for cities involving potable water provision, wastewater and sewage disposal, and flood damage prevention. Additionally, you will prepare environmental documentation for water resources, ensure regulatory compliance, manage data, perform analyses, and conduct field work. Responsibilities
- Design municipal water systems for potable water and wastewater disposal.
- Prevent flood-related damage through effective design solutions.
- Prepare environmental documentation for water resources.
- Ensure regulatory program compliance.
- Manage and analyze data related to water resources.
- Conduct field work to support project development.
- Perform hydraulic modeling and pipeline design.
- Design advanced water or wastewater treatment plants.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software for project design.
- Certified Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
- Experience in municipal water design or treatment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to present designs to mayors and the public.
- Experience with water modeling software.
- Knowledge of advanced treatment facilities such as sequencing batch reactors, membranes, and ultraviolet disinfection systems.
- Experience in designing pumping stations, water distribution systems, and wastewater engineering.
