Our fast growing, construction company is looking for self-motivated and experienced individuals with the skills and knowledge to supervise multiple asphalt and concrete projects. Duties include working with client, project manager, foremen, and material suppliers to ensure all projects are completed timely, within budget, and with satisfied quality.
**You MUST have experience in building roads.
-Dirt, asphalt, concrete, pipe, water, and sewer experience.
Job Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Ability to understand the contractual obligations of the plans, specifications, addendums and submittals of various projects.
- Capable of converting weight and volume.
- Supervise operation to ensure projects are in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
- Assist the Project Manager in making schedules for jobs and getting them done in a timely manner.
- Review weekly job costs to keep the project within budget.
- Ensure that all change orders are properly executed and indicated on as-built plans.
- Oversee and direct foremen, crew members, and other contractors to ensure productivity and the efficient use of materials and equipment.
- See that field employees and subcontractors follow safety regulations.
- Maintain a high standard of quality control at all times.
- Manage inventory of tools and equipment.
- 3+ years of construction management or paving supervision preferred.
