Work Schedule: Wednesday thru Saturday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a maximum of 20 hours per week

Pay Rate: $12.00
Key Components:
This position is reserved for Federal Work Study (FWS) Students only.
Assist Director of Construction and Construction Supervisor in the construction of affordable single-family residential homes. Prepare job site, supervise volunteers, deliver materials to work site and assist with physical work of the building process ranging from framing to completing punch out items. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand & walk for the majority of the workday, walk & climb on uneven surfaces, climb ladders & stairs as well as be able to bend, lift, grasp, push & pull materials/tools to move them in and out of vehicles & work sites, and use power tools. Will need to have attentive, empathetic, collaborative & interpersonal skills as well as the ability to relate well with all constituents, staff, partnering families, volunteers, business, religious and political communities.
This is off-campus employment and reliable transportation is important. Driving is required. Must have 2-3 hour blocks of time to work. Availability to work all day on Saturdays is a plus.
