POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Pipeline Welder will assist with the implementation of the various components of DGOC's Pipeline Maintenance programs. Special focus will be placed on: Provide welding, cellulose (mild steel) and other construction related support to Construction Services and Operations Participate in pre-job planning and staging of equipment and resources prior to executing work activities Coordinate work activities and provide active control to in house personnel and third-party contractors Ability to read sketch, engineered, and as built drawings Shop fabrication welding of piping assemblies and hydro testing Assist and preparation of pre-job documentation Ensure all work tasks and duties comply with Diversified Gas and Oil Corps. Community, Safety and Environment policies, procedures, and related state legislation Provide support for emergency pipeline repairs to both natural gas and oil pipeline systems Other tasks as required. Completes special projects, other duties, and annual objectives as assigned POSITION REQUIREMENTS POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience A minimum of 3 years' experience in pipeline construction or related field Ability to maintain welding certification to DGOC standards Knowledge of API 1104 welding regulations Applicant must demonstrate ability to pass welding test per API 1104 regulations prior to hiring. Experience with Pipeline maintenance processes and procedures Experience with asset data management/ work order management systems- EAM/ MAXIMO preferred Knowledge of applicable State and Federal Regulations pertaining to the Transportation of Natural Gas by Pipeline.
