Farmer Stock Laborer

Position Summary: Reporting to the Farmer Stock Logistics Coordinator, t he Farmer Stock Laborer wil l be responsible for working with members of the farmer stock team to ensure the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the farmer stock warehouses and farmer stock equipment to ensure the quality of peanuts. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work quickly with a high attention to detail and safety protocols. This position will have to work well independently as well as with a team environment. Position Responsibilities :

• Ensure the cleanliness of the farmer stock warehouses.

• Maintain grounds, equipment, warehouses, office space, and other equipment concerning Farmer Stock procedures.Load and unload trucks, trailers, and wagons using loaders orbelts.

• Work with shellingplant when the plant is short - handed.

• Ensure all work areas are kept clean and safe for working.

• Safely transport wagons of trash, peanuts, and other products produced from the facility to designated areas without damaging equipment, structures or vehicles.

• Responsible for backing up the Grade Station Attendant as follows:

• Grade, sort, and classif y unprocessed food and other agricultural products by size, weight, color and/ or condition.

• Pull samples from the trailer and report how much foreign material and loose-shelled kernels are in the sample.

• Discard inferior or defective products or foreign matter and place acceptable products in containers for further processing.

• Complywith all Olam peanut Shelling Company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), PreventiveControls Rules, and Occupational Safety Rules.

• Comply with Olam Peanut Shelling Company Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs).

• P er form other duties as assigned.

P osition Requirements:

• High School diploma is required .

• Driver's license with a clean driving record is required .

• Will be required to o btain licenses and certifications for Lock-Out Tag-Out, Manlift, and Confined Space with six (6) months of starting the position .

• Must be willing and able to work in a team-oriented environment .

• Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines will be required .

• Ability to learn quickly while providing great attention to detail is required .

• Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions including r ain, cold, and high temperatures for extended periods of time will be required .

• Must be w illing to work weekends and holidays when plant is shelling and during the peanut season.

• Must be flexible and willing to work overtime as needed. Will be required to work on call shifts.
