Journeyman Electrician

The successful candidate will support the installation of electrical systems for infrastructure in data centers throughout Northern Virginia. This role involves installing and repairing control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair control and distribution apparatus such as motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
• Interpret plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Determine method and sequence for installing electrical fixtures and equipment, including AC/DC motors, control panels, PLCs, switches, and more.

• 6+ years of experience in electrical construction.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial environments.
• Journeyman license or equivalent electrical training and experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with 10-50k square foot projects.

• 5-10 years of experience as an electrician.
• 4-8 years of experience in the field or related area.
• Experience working in data centers or mission critical facilities is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
