UI Architect

We are looking for an UI Architect who will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. As an Architect You will leverage your expertise in Java and React JS to develop high-quality applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a new stores application which is used to print Signages in Stores within the retail domain.

**In this role, you will:**

+ Design and develop scalable and efficient architectures using React Js to meet business requirements.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.

+ Analyze and optimize existing systems to enhance performance and user experience.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster growth and knowledge sharing.

+ Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and best practices.

+ Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

+ Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural designs and implementations.

**What youll need to succeed (required skills):**

+ Deep understanding and practical application of various architectural patterns like microservices, event-driven architecture, hexagonal architecture, CQRS, and more.

+ Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into robust and scalable system designs. This includes defining components, interfaces, data flows, and interactions between different parts of the system

+ **Scalability & Performance:** Designing systems that can handle increasing load and maintain performance under pressure. Understanding different scaling techniques (horizontal vs. vertical), caching strategies, and performance monitoring tools

+ **Reliability & Resilience:** Designing fault-tolerant systems that can recover from failures and ensure business continuity. Implementing patterns like circuit breakers, retries, and fallbacks

**Cloud Computing:** Experience designing and deploying Java applications on cloud platforms like GCP. Understanding cloud-native services and best practices for cloud deployments.

Based on this roles business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring **3 days a week** in a Cognizant or client office in Duluth, GA.
